The Women’s Ministry of Bethel Church of Houston is designed to help each and every woman, regardless of age, to know that she is uniquely gifted by God. It is our desire to promote relationships among women, to encourage each other into deeper relationships with Jesus Christ, and to equip ourselves to use the gifts that God has given us.
What do you do when God’s timing seems questionable, His lack of intervention hurtful, and His promises doubtful? Life often looks so very different than we hoped or expected. We feel disappointed and disillusioned, and we quietly start to wonder about the reality of God’s goodness. Lysa TerKeurst understands this deeply and she’s also discovered that our disappointments can be the divine appointments our souls need to radically encounter God. In It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way, Lysa helps us to see our lives in the context of God’s bigger story.
Please join the women of Bethel, beginning the week of September 21 for a 6-week book study with small group discussion of It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way.
Small groups will be assigned the week of September 14. Each small group will decide when and how they will meet (zoom, in person, or a combination of both).

At MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), we believe better moms make a better world. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. We want to help you find an authentic community, receive mothering support, and attain personal growth and spiritual hope so you can be the best mom possible. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month September through April. There is childcare, breakfast, special guest speakers, and community!
This year at MOPS is about the full life. Which means living grateful, joyful, and hopeful. It means being led by the Good Shepherd and trusting that everything is working out exactly as it should. Here’s to a year of living the full life. We hope you will join us!
