Adult Discipleship at Bethel

Making disciples of Jesus who glorify God in all of life

The purpose of Adult Discipleship at Bethel is to make disciples of Jesus who glorify God in all of life:

We are intentional about making disciples in four relationally-driven, content-rich core environments: Corporate Worship, Community Groups, Equipping Classes and Service.

Corporate Worship

Sunday morning worship service

This is our time each Sunday morning when we gather together to celebrate God. We sing, we share stories of how God is at work and we study God’s Word. Bethel offers Sunday morning worship services at 10:45 am in English and in Spanish. Services begin at 10:45 am.

Community Groups

This is where “authentic community” becomes a personal reality:

We have various types of small groups that meet at Bethel and around Houston.

Equipping Classes

A small group of people learn at a Sunday equipping class

These Sunday morning classes use God’s word to equip our people to face life’s challenges and to glorify God in all of life. Classes run on a semester system, with new classes beginning in January, May, and September. Classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.

Ministry Teams

Ministry teams are designed to serve. Teams may be ongoing or short-term. They may serve in the church, in the community or across the world. In light of the biblical teaching on the gifting of each member of the body of Christ, we believe ministry is most effective when accomplished through teams.
