Annual Meeting/4th Sunday Lunch

Bethel Members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and lunch on Sunday, January 28 following our Worship Gathering.  During the meeting we will be reviewing financials, approve candidates, along with a few other business items.

• Childcare is available for ages Babies-3yrs until 1:00pm.  Please bring a lunch for your children.
• Children ages 4+ should be picked up after our Worship Gathering and join you for lunch.

Bethel Members will vote on the following candidates:

Elder Candidate, Mitch Hale
Mitch is a native Houstonian who came to faith in his 40’s. He and his wife, Jennie, have been attending Bethel Church since 2009 where they co-hosted the Spring Valley life group for several years. Mitch was a Bethel Deacon for four years, a 5^th grade Sunday school teacher for over ten years and is currently involved with Church in the Park and Men’s Ministry. Mitch has a passion for the Word of God through daily Bible reading and study.

Deacon Candidate, Caleb Allen
Caleb and his wife, Dayna, have been attending Bethel with their two daughters since May of 2021. They regularly serve in a few capacities with the Bethel Kids Ministry, and have supported at various other events throughout their attendance. They attend the Memorial Voss Life Group and are always eager to serve wherever needed.

Deacon Candidate, Sean Elliston
Sean placed his faith in our Lord Jesus Christ his freshman year in high school.  Sean, his wife, Carolina, and their son began attending Bethel in May 2022.  As a family, they have stepped into becoming connected with the Bethel family including becoming part of a Life Group.  Sean currently serves as one of the leaders for the New Members Elective.

Deacon Candidate, Yan Yu
Born and raised in China, Yan came to America in 2011 for study.  He started knowing Jesus Christ in 2015, and has whole-heartedly believed in Him since 2018 when he encountered life challenges and experienced true love from our Lord. He has been attending Bethel for two years and is active in his Life Group, Missions Prayer, Electives and volunteering.
