Women's Summer Study

Tuesdays, June 3 - July 29, 9:30 - 11:15 am

Please join us - Bethel women and friends - for our summer study!

Jerry Bridges Book, “True Community”, will guide us to know and understand the full meaning of biblical community and its implications for the Body of Christ - the Church.

We will meet weekly for fellowship, sharing, discussion, prayer and serving.

Fellowship among believers is more than talking over coffee and visiting. Biblical fellowship in New Testament times had rich and varied meanings; including partnering in the gospel, communing with God and others, and serving with our spiritual and earthly possessions. Discussion questions will help us understand with a new appreciation what God intends the body of Christ to be in fellowship and in service. Our prayer is that you will join us!! Let us as the body of Christ, capture and embrace the richness of living in true Christian community.

Women's Ministry at Bethel

We are smart. We are brave. We want to change the world. We run marathons to benefit our sisters, not so that we can lose weight. We have more to offer to the church than our mad decorating skills. The women of Bethel can offer strategic leadership, wisdom, counsel, and even, yes, teaching. We want to give and serve and make a difference. We want to be challenged. We want to read books and talk politics, theology, and current events. We want to wrestle through our theology. We want to listen to each other. We want to worship, we want to intercede for our sisters and weep with those who weep, rejoice with those that rejoice, to create life and art and justice with intention.

Bethel Women is a community of women, gathered together to live more whole-heartedly, to sharpen, challenge, love, and inspire one another to then scatter back out to our worlds bearing the mandate to be women that love.
