What's Your Worldview?

A person’s world view can be summed-up in the answers to these three little questions:

  1. Who am I?
  2. Why am I here?
  3. Where am I going?

The answers to these three little questions provide a clear picture of your true sense of identity and self-worth. Since counsel from today’s pop-psychology does not provide satisfying answers, we need a better resource.

By God’s grace He has written a truthful, hope-filled, promise-giving message full of answers for today as well as for tomorrow.  Compare this brief “before-and-after” status of Christians found in Scriptures:

Spiritually Dead (Col. 2:13) Alive to Christ (Eph. 2:4-5)
Futile in Purpose (Eph. 4:17-19 Living to God's Glory (1 Cor. 10:31)
Under Divine Wrath (Rom. 1:18) Under Divine Grace (Eph. 2:8)
Slave to Satan's Will (1 John 5:19) Freedom in Christ (John 8:36)
Without Hope (Eph. 2:12) A Living Hope in Christ (1 Peter 1:3)
Resurrection to Judgement (John 5:29) Resurrection to Eternal Life (John 11:25)

The three questions can now be easily answered, and they should look something like this:

  1. Who are you? A new creation, alive in Christ.
  2. Why are you here? To serve and glorify God.
  3. Where are you going? To spend eternity in the presence of your God, the One who loves you.

A stunning sense of purpose and identity is available to all Christians irrespective of circumstances. Don’t allow negative circumstances common to this world rob you of the joy of your salvation. If you are down trodden, sad or frustrated, it could be that you’ve forgotten who you are ‒ read His word and be reminded you that He is your Father, and He will never let you go.
