We often find ourselves needing a place of rest and refuge where we can find and share answers for questions about living life well and living it to the fullest. Transforming Women is such a place: a Bible study full of women of all different ages and stages of life—wives, single women, moms—pursuing answers for life together.
Each woman can custom design her day with us. She can choose to participate in our small group studies, interactive teaching time, and/or a panel discussion—whatever she wants! Our schedule is:
Small groups (9:30 - 10:00 am)
Fellowship (10:00 - 10:15 am)
Teaching & Discussion (10:15 - 11:00 am)
Panel Discussion (11:00 - 11:30 am)
Cross centered living that leads to a closer connection to Jesus and Christianity will be our focus this year. We will take an insightful and startlingly fresh look at the cosmic, historical, and personal story of King Jesus in the book of Mark. We will be using Tim Keller's study notes and referencing his book, King's Cross. We will also use Elyse Fitzgerald's book, Counsel From the Cross, where Elyse lays out how the Cross is the most excellent counsel for any problem we face. Our study segments will be:
Segment 1: Who is the King? (Sept 13 - Nov 29)
Segment 2: Counsel From the Cross (January 10 - 31)
Segment 3--What did the King Come to Do? (February 7 - April 24)
We hope you'll consider joining us each Tuesday at Bethel Church from 9:30 to 11:30 am. (Childcare is provided and extends to 12:30 pm). Our start date is September 13.
