God has planted a new initiative on the hearts of men at Bethel. What has been an average Men's ministry program for years is now anticipated to be a unique offering for men of all ages and walks of life as we seek to gather together to "sharpen" one another for God's work and glory here in Houston.

A core group of more than a dozen men have been meeting weekly and praying for God's discernment over the past few months and we are excited to reveal a new offering starting this Fall that seeks to encourage and engage men for the sake of the gospel callen Men's Life (The Quest for Authentic Manhood). This new program will provide men with a safe and stimulating environment to explore a clear definition of being a man in today’s world, to make some significant discoveries about ourselves, to build meaningful relationships with other men and to develop a personalized plan for authentic manhood.

We know you likely have a lot of questions and we will be providing some opportunities in the near future to answer your questions. Through the summer, we'll be meeting on the last Thursday of June, July & August for Men's Nite - a casual BBQ event where we'll spend some time talking about our plans for a Men's Life rollout in September. We want you there... and any friends/colleagues you think would also be interested in something like this. So, join us on the following dates below:

• Men's Nite BBQ - Thursday, June 28th, 6:30 pm in the Student Center
• Men's Nite BBQ - Thursday, July 26th, 6:30 pm in the SC
• Men's Nite Movie - Watching "Courageous" on Thursday, August 30th, 6:30 pm in the SC
