As original natives of Egypt, Pastor Eid and his wife, Neven, came to Houston with little more than the clothes on their back eager to fulfill a vision to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the more than a hundred thousand Muslims and Arabs in Houston.
In a short period of time, Eid and his wife have established numerous relationships with Middle Eastern refugees. Consequently, Eid desires to reach Arab Christians to plant a church and teach them how they can share the good news with their Muslim neighbors.
In addition, Eid looks for opportunities to educate American Christians to partner with him in ministry and evangelism among the Muslims in and around Houston.
In 2010, Eid founded the Houston Hope for the Nations - a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose purpose is to reach, engage, and assemble Arab Americans for the causes of evangelism and fellowship.
Presently, Eid reaches out to his Arabic Speaking neighbors and immigrants through organizing ESL courses, hosting a worship service and various outreach events.
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
