Who Is Robert A. Tolson?

dr. robert tolsonDr. Robert (Bob) Tolson served as Senior Pastor at Bethel Church of Houston for 30 years - 1971 to 2001. With a passion to teach the Bible expositionally, he opened God’s Word every Sunday to unpack its truths one verse at a time. His faithfulness to preaching God’s Word (with some dry wit mixed in) has been used by God to transform men and women in all walks of life.

Dr. Tolson now resides in Arizona with his grown son, Steve, and grandchildren.

Bethel’s annual conference is proudly named after the legacy he’s left behind through God’s extraordinary grace.
