  • Summary of 2012-2013 Program Year

We had an amazing program year at Bethel. Not only did we see many more kids enter into the program, but we also had our first Awana Derby as well as "Pie Your Leaders" night. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! We'll be off for the summer and then open our program up in the fall on Sunday, September 8th. Mark your calendars! We look forward to another incredible (and blessed) year of Awana.

  • Awana Leaders Get a Pie to the Face

It's quickly becoming a tradition here at Awana at Bethel - near the end of the program year, we allow the clubbers who have finished a scripture memory book an opportunity to throw a pie in a leaders face (Sparks and TnT). Here's a highlight reel from yesterdays pie throwing event. Enjoy!

Starting Up Sept 8!

Are you looking for ways to get your kids excited about God and His Word? Would you like your children to memorize Scripture and hide God’s word in their hearts? Awana Clubs is a program for children ages 3 years through 6th grade that seeks to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We meet weekly on Sunday afternoons to play fun games, memorize Scripture, and learn practical lessons from the Bible.

Last year we had over thirty clubbers complete their handbooks. Four of them received the Sparkie award for finishing three handbooks over the course of three years. That is over 150 Bible verses memorized! But the clubbers do get a break from all their hard work memorizing Scripture. The clubbers were polled and the results were nearly unanimous that Game Time was their favorite part of Awana.

Bethel's Awana program meets on Sundays from 4:15-6:00 pm starting September 8th in the Fellowship Hall. Visitors are always welcome.

We also need teens and adults willing to serve in Awana. This is a simple way to get plugged into ministry at Bethel. If interested in serving, please fill out the form on the right sidebar of this page.
